Raccolta e lavorazione del Bergamotto

Periodo di raccolta e lavorazione del Bergamotto: Novembre – Febbraio
I frutti vengono raccolti manualmente per preservarne la qualità.
Riposti dentro le ceste, i frutti vengono poi collocati nelle vasche d’acqua per essere lavati e processati utilizzando la macchina pelatrice che lavora sulla scorza del frutto per estrarne l’olio.
L’essenza è ottenuta con estrazione a freddo attraverso il processo di separazione dell’olio dall’acqua per centrifugazione.
